Ryan is the high school science teacher, school mentorship program coordinator and trip coordinator. His background in experiential education helps create unique hands on experiences for our students. His slowly growing "classroom zoo" consists of a Blue toungued skink, Madagascar hissing cockroaches, a Chilean rose hair tarantula, a fish tank and an observational bee hive. Ryan loves getting outside with his students and making science education both fun and rewarding. In his spare time you can find him changing diapers, gardening and rock climbing. After moving from the big city of Denver Ryan has found the quiet peaceful atmosphere of the Crestone Charter School to be refreshing and the surrounding mountains absolutely beautiful.
